Yvonne Hercules: The Open Fund for Music Creators
Yvonne Hercules is a singer-songwriter based in Cambridge/London. Her music is inspired by Folk, Blues, Rock & Soul genres and underpinned by honest, thought-provoking lyrics. Her music has received nods from publications such as Clash Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, Afropunk, BBC Introducing and others. Support from the Open Fund will help Yvonne with the recording and production process of 2 new singles, working with industry recognised producer Matthew Otto who has worked with artists such as Moses Sumney and Solange. This will culminate in 2 new single releases with a digital release campaign planned for late 2020/early 2021.
