PPL Momentum Music Fund continues 10 year celebration at the Northern Ireland Music Prize as Arborist scoops Album of the Year for funded album
Our PPL Momentum Music Fund 10 year celebration continued at the Northern Ireland Music Prize as PPL Momentum Music grantee Arborist scooped the Album of the Year for his supported album “An Endless Sequence Of Dead Zeros”.
Having been an admirer of the music of Matthew E White – and many of the artists who record at his Spacebomb studio in Richmond, Virginia – Mark McCambridge aka Arborist used PPL Momentum Music funding to enable him to record the new Arborist album at Spacebomb, a fitting step forward in Mark’s career as a recording artist.
The album was chosen by an independent panel of judges on the night of the Awards ceremony.
In total 17 nominees this year were funded by PRS Foundation, with Chalk (International Showcase Fund) and Problem Patterns (Women Make Music) also being recognised with awards;
